Summer Solstice – Meditation

The Summer Solstice is the longest day of the year when the sun is at its highest point. In the Celtic calender it is called Litha. It is one of the days of the year you can see the Fairies with your physical eyes at dusk. They appear as white sparkly light. I have over the years taken many to see the Fairy lights and watch the spectacular show.

If you wish to see the Fairies tune in and ask  to be witness to their solstice celebrations. Call out to them and be guided where to go. Take yourself just before dusk (it is easier to see them in the country where few humans are or near a leyline where there is high earth energy). Ground yourself and take your awareness to your heart, as you become aware of your breath you slow your energy down, making it easier to be with their realm. Leave an offering of honey, chocolate (out of foil), milk or mead for the Fairies and ask for their guidance and help with the year ahead.
